Congratulations to ten of our Transition year students who were invited to the Trinity Law Outreach Society Event in Trinity College on Tuesday the 26th of November.
Leah Hanbury, Caitlin Howard, Holly Donovan, Lucy Kelly, Lyndsay Caulfield, Conor Murphy, Tristan Harcourt, Alex Dunne, Demi McDonagh and Eimer Hopkins.
They were treated to an official Trinity College trails tour where they explored the grounds and the history of Trinity. They were then invited to listen and take part in a Solicitors panel, where many aspects of Law were discussed such as employment law, international finances and Social Justice. A barrister Darren Lalor spoke to them about being at the Bar of Ireland for 9 years, and spoke about his non-traditional experience in the legal profession. The students were then given the opportunity to speak to representatives from the Trinity Access Programme (TAPS) to get any questions answered. After lunch they finished the day with some fun taking part in a legal Bingo.
Well done and Thanks to the Trinity Law Outreach Society who have just completed a four week Law module with the Transition Years here in MSCC.
