MSCC attend Ireland's win in the Aviva

Mount Seskin students, along with Maria and Ms Murphy, were treated to a historic day at the Aviva Stadium today as they attended the Women’s Six Nations rugby match between Ireland and Scotland.

It was an outstanding performance by the Irish team, who secured a fantastic 54–5 victory and lifted the Siobhán Cattigan Cup. History was also made as this was the first standalone Women’s international rugby game held at the Aviva Stadium, attracting a record-breaking attendance of over 31,000 supporters.

For some MSCC students, it was their first visit to the Aviva Stadium, while for others it was their first time attending a rugby match, making the experience even more memorable.

A special highlight of the day for Sophie Mansfield was getting the opportunity to meet and take a photo with one of her sporting heroes, Irish international soccer player Denise O'Sullivan.
