As part of our School Transfer Programme, we were delighted to welcome students from St Thomas SNS to Mount Seskin for a very enjoyable and engaging morning.
The visiting students had the opportunity to meet our principal, Ms Ryan, who warmly welcomed them to the school. They were also supported throughout the visit by our student ambassadors Abi, Holly, Marissa and Sophie, who did a fantastic job guiding the students and answering questions about life in Mount Seskin.
During their visit, the students sampled a variety of subjects including Science, PE, Art and Music, giving them a real flavour of the learning experiences on offer at post-primary level. The sessions were interactive, fun and informative, and it was great to see the enthusiasm and curiosity shown by all involved.
The event was coordinated by HSCLs, Avril Buttimer and Julie McKenna, whose work helped ensure the morning ran smoothly.
A huge thank you to Mr Akinbami, Ms Edwards, Mr Heffernan and Ms Timmons for organising and delivering such engaging activities and for making the morning possible. We would also like to extend our thanks to the staff from St Thomas’s SNS for their support and for helping to make the visit such a success.
We thoroughly enjoyed hosting the students and look forward to welcoming them back to Mount Seskin in the future.
