This week, our school proudly celebrated Stand Up Awareness Week in partnership with Belong To – LGBTQ+ Ireland. The week was all about promoting inclusion, allyship, and support for our LGBTQ+ community.
A huge thank you to all the students who helped hand out badges, wristbands, and stickers throughout the week — your enthusiasm helped spread positivity and awareness across the school!
We also want to thank every student who attended our Ally Assemblies and took part in thoughtful discussions about what it truly means to be an ally. On Friday, the school came alive with colour as students and staff members dressed in every shade of the rainbow to show their support.
A special thanks goes to Maria for hosting a lively dance party at lunch, complete with treats and great tunes! The Ally Club also wrapped up the week with a well-deserved celebration of their own, marking a successful and inspiring Stand-Up Awareness Week.
Check out some of the photos to see the energy, colour, and community spirit that made the week so special! Thank you to Mr McClean for coordinating the events for this week.
