Mount Seskin Community College is soon to welcome applications from First Year 2027-28!
Community Open Day - join us Sunday September 20th 1 - 4pm: come in to see our school & meet our team!
We look forward to welcoming prospective First Years and their parents and families to our Open Day as part of celebrations this year marking the school's 40th anniversary.
Our Principal Ms Ryan & Deputy Principal Mr Ferguson will be on hand alongside leadership, teaching and support staff to speak to parents, families and prospective students.
There will be an opportunity to tour the school site, meet students, ask questions and explore life at Mount Seskin. Come and see the college campus come alive, meet leaders and pastoral support staff, hear from student ambassadors first hand of course, enjoy performances from our school band!
Parents, future students and the whole family are welcome.
Submitting an application for admissions
Applications for first year for the 2027/2028 academic year will be open from Thursday 1/10/2026 until Friday 23/10/2026.
Any applications after the closing date for receipt of applications will be processed as late applications in accordance with the school’s Admission Policy.

Please note that applications must be submitted in hard copy to the school - all details are on the form. Incomplete forms will not be accepted.

Support for Primary to Secondary Transfer
We have a dedicated team to support secondary transition and ensure the journey to settled, secondary school life is smooth for all of our young people. This is led by Ms Buttimer HSCL who works closely with the wider pastoral, guidance and curriculum team to prepare the programme.
