Partnership with parents
At Mount Seskin Community College, we work in partnership with parents.
Starting secondary school is a big change and we have a rich and supportive Transfer Programme in place to support your child. As a First Year parent we'll see you at the Welcome Tour and Information morning.
All year groups have one formal parent-teacher meeting with each year group's teachers and parents. The exception is 3rd and 6th years, where there are two per year. Parent calendars are shared at the start of each academic year.
We welcome parent involvement in our Parent Council to support school events, fundraising, and to feed back on school provision. To get involved at any time email mountseskincc@ddletb.ie
Our Home School Liaison lead works closely with all parents to support the partnership between teachers, leaders and parents. From September this will be Avril Buttimer. Her mobile is 085 8796092. Her email is avrilbuttimer@ddletb.ie
