Sixth year Biology students completed a project today as part of their Leaving Cert programme, working with the Team at Dublin Zoo!
Students investigated a grassland and woodland habitats, collecting, identifying and describing plants and animals using specialist equipment. They conducted a qualitative and quantitative study building to a detailed fieldwork report.
It was a great experience to think like a biologist and practice experiments 'in the field'.
Students also enjoyed taking in the wonder of the animals, plants and habitats in Dublin Zoo during the relaxing afternoon.
Thanks Ms Byrne for shaping this trip and well done to all.
