We were very fortunate to be joined yesterday by YA writer Amy Clarkin.
Amy visited Mount Seskin's JCSP Library and spoke to 2nd Year & TY students about her experience writing books including the brilliant 'What Walks These Halls' and 'Who Watches This Place'.
Amy spoke about how she came to write her first book, how and why she creates her characters, and where she finds inspiration. After a really engaging talk, students had the chance to ask questions and learn a little more about the publishing process and how an idea goes from a spark to a published novel.
We are really grateful to Amy for her visit and it was a really positive experience for our students to meet a writer from Dublin working on the kinds of books they read and can see themselves in.
